Bed and Breakfast Florence Italy in
the historic city center near Duomo and Uffizi Gallery.
We have prepared in Florence a discreet and refined
bed and breakfast in a fifteenth-century mansion, on
the master floor of a building in front of the Duomo.
Complete autonomy, two hundred metres from the Uffizi,
'B&B Florence' brings you in the heart of Italian
art and gives you the house-key.
Very few rooms, meant to those who worship Italian
Renaissance and to those who love its culture, where
privacy and freedom of a Bed and Breakfast are combined
with a high standard treatment, with independent telephone,
heating, air conditioner, satellite tv, minibar, coffee/tea
percolator, little safe box, soundproof windows, internet
connection, hydro-massage and breakfast served in your
room.
As soon as you get out, in front of you is the Duomo.
A few metres aside the Opera Museum, Piazza della Signoria,
the Ethnology and Anthropology Museum, the Uffizi gallery,
Ponte Vecchio, the boutiques of Via de' Tornabuoni.
And if you really want to go far, in five minutes walk
is Palazzo Pitti.
Brunelleschi Room:
This is the room with the grey stone balcony typical
of Florentine aristocratic palaces, with its friezes
and wrought iron structure. The hand-made bed recalls
the 17th century patterns and highlights the wooden
ceiling. Walls are pink as well as the bathroom floor
such as to witness the unique aesthetic taste, which
is further enhanced by the white and light brown patterns
on the walls tiled with Vietri ceramics. Nothing will
compare waking up in Florence with the Cathedral dome
outstanding in the sky.
Michelangelo Room: A spacious room
where every detail is taken care of, a real suite rather
than a bedroom, a canopy bed with silk fabrics, macramè
lace curtains at the windows, an ancient fireplace built
with marble and the traditional grey stone, which in
winter will inspire the right warmth for sipping a glass
of cognac. The High original wood ceiling perfectly
matches with the ancient cotto-bricked floor as well
as with Vietri ceramic tiles used in the bathroom.
Botticelli Room: Warm and appealing,
spacious though reserved and romantic with their pink
and lilac colours, their ancient masterly-restored cotto-bricked
floors and precious hand-decorated Vietri ceramics in
the bathrooms, these rooms will immediately make you
forget the view over the internal courts thanks to the
accuracy of the pieces of forniture that master craftsmen
have realized in solid chestnut wood, typical of the
poor Tuscan art. These rooms nonetheless offer all comforts
of the Residence as for services delivered.
Dante: Warm and appealing, spacious
though reserved and romantic with their pink and lilac
colours, their ancient masterly-restored cotto-bricked
floors and precious hand-decorated Vietri ceramics in
the bathrooms, these rooms will immediately make you
forget the view over the internal courts thanks to the
accuracy of the pieces of forniture that master craftsmen
have realized in solid chestnut wood, typical of the
poor Tuscan art. These rooms nonetheless offer all comforts
of the Residence as for services delivered.
Leonardo: The outstanding element
of this marvellous room is the Tuscan classic yellow
colour that prevails wherever. This room also has a
canopy bed, precious fabrics and the characteristic
coffered ceiling typical of Tuscan dwellings. At the
same time well-fit and relaxing, this is the closest
room to the Cathedral, intensely suggestive and evocative
thanks to its bricked fireplace, decorated with grey
stone and wrought iron.
